VP of Sales and Brand Marketing - Landscape Construction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead sales and marketing initiatives across multiple divisions, including construction, maintenance, retail, and specialty outdoor products. The ideal candidate will develop unified strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and foster cross-divisional collaboration. This role reports to senior leadership and is pivotal in aligning sales efforts with operational objectives while identifying opportunities to increase market share and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve organizational growth objectives.
  • Oversee and support the cross-functionality of sales and marketing to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Increase sales and sales conversion rates by incorporating cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, content strategy, and lead generation, to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Establish measurable goals for sales and marketing performance and accountability for all KPIs.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality messaging and branding across all platforms and communications.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders and networks to identify new market opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry events to strengthen its market presence.
  • Leverage, unify, and improve CRM tools, technology, and analytics to track performance and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Effectively collect and analyze market research and competitive analysis to refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to align sales and marketing efforts with broader business goals.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing, ideally in construction or related industries.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales technologies, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Adaptable and proactive in identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial or fast-paced environment is a plus.
