Regional Business Developer

  • Growing market share in the operating region by developing new, long-term Landscape Maintenance and Snow Removal contracts to a diverse portfolio which includes office/retail/commercial/industrial clients.

  • Developing new and emerging markets, as well as integrating new services to be delivered, as part of an overall strategic expansion initiative. Support identification of recommended services and sales strategies that align to the client’s needs.

  • Innovating the current market development plans, enabling yourself to help create a high-performance business development culture which quickly identifies prospects, enhances the active sales pipeline, initiates new client relationships and successfully closes opportunities.

  • Providing educated input of the company’s services to a targeted client base, which will address the client’s specific needs while supporting the goals of all stakeholders.

  • Not remaining complacent with achieving mutually agreed opportunity conversion goals but driving to exceed the overall company KPIs.

  • Unwavering accountability throughout the opportunity cycle by nurturing meaningful customer relationships, professional presentations, and the collaborative transition of those relationships to the operations team, while maintaining participation to support the company’s overall delivery of services.

  • Collaboration with the Leadership team and having a seat at the table in shaping market strategy, market segmentation and messaging.

  • Timely completion of accurate estimates aligned with the company’s KPIs.

  • Developing and delivering professional presentations catered to intended clients.

  • Maintaining accurate client/opportunity information in the CRM including the depth of the sales pipeline, the status of prospects, client interactions, contract scope, and estimates to support providing periodic reports aligned to the company’s KPIs.

  • Providing targeted insight into the current regional market and industry trends, potential opportunity base, and key competitors.

  • Collaborative participation in business development and prospecting activities to create demand, increase brand recognition and generate leads such as attending industry and client networking functions, association meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

  • Effective use of cutting-edge tools and social media to drive results.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • At least 5 years of successful regional business development experience with measurable, aggressive results and a track record of successfully establishing an active pipeline of qualified prospects, creating meaningful customer relationships, increasing demand and sales, and closing profitable contracts for landscape maintenance, snow removal, and exterior services in the office/retail/industrial/commercial markets.

  • A fanatical drive to win and drive results.

  • A high level of self-accountability coupled with a positive attitude.

  • An understanding of the importance of driving culture throughout an organization and the willingness to do the right thing at all times.

  • The desire to grow both the company and yourself.

  • A willingness to collaborate with the team to drive forth the overall company culture.
