What the Position Entails:

  • Full operational and financial responsibility for the business.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with residential clients.
  • Managing daily operations and ensuring project excellence and efficiency.
  • Developing and mentoring a team of professionals to ensure high performance.
  • Driving revenue growth and profitability through proactive client engagement and project management.
  • Implementing operational systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and leading the company into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide visible, hands-on leadership to inspire and guide the team.
  • Growth: Spearhead initiatives to expand the company’s market presence and drive profitable growth.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L, ensuring alignment with company goals for profitability and cash flow.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Team Development: Attract, retain, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally with full P&L responsibility for a business over $20M.
  • Proven track record of success in landscape services or related industries.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for growing businesses and improving operational processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
