District Manager - Environmental Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct the performance of various tasks and projects, ensuring compliance with both company and client specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for client concerns and inquiries, leading contract renegotiations and actively pursuing new service opportunities.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels across sites, recruiting and interviewing candidates, and providing feedback on candidate selection.
  • Develop and implement training programs for site staff and management to ensure consistent, safe, and effective operations.
  • Monitor payroll processes, including timesheet approval and the derivation of workforce metrics.
  • Develop supply inventory metrics for budgeting and client contract negotiations, focusing on cost savings.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and build strong cross-functional relationships to support company strategy.
  • Monitor budgets closely to anticipate and communicate financial adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and integrate new cleaning techniques, supplies, and tools appropriately.

What It Takes to be Successful:

  • Minimum of eight (5) years of relevant experience in Facility Services, Aerospace Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Kronos/UKG, and similar corporate systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with a record that meets company standards.
  • Experience in managing union contracts and the ability to secure a Government Security Clearance or Live Scan as required.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel locally (30-40%) and to headquarters as needed.
  • Must meet Covid-19 vaccination requirements which may vary by client site
