Director of Sales - Arbor

The Director of Sales – Arbor will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand the client base. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with experience in the arboriculture or related industries, a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and create plans to expand the company’s market presence.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client deliverables.

Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and growth opportunities.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective sales practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the arboriculture or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
