A leading landscape company in New Jersey is looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed professionally, profitably, and on time, while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering collaborative relationships.
Responsibilities
- Research, schedule, and procure materials efficiently.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and construction teams.
- Perform project takeoffs and interpret plans and specifications.
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for materials and labor.
- Manage project schedules, including equipment, materials, subcontractors, and personnel.
- Supervise daily operations and ensure readiness for subsequent workdays.
- Maintain comprehensive daily records and report project progress weekly.
- Inspect completed projects to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Contribute to operational readiness for mobilizations, including snow removal when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential and commercial construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and estimating/takeoff software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- OSHA certifications are an advantage.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role involves assigning and reviewing work for foremen and laborers.
